This capture concept was developed in a research lab of SwRI and is now a "Proven" practice in several technical/industrial environments within the Air Force. This extremely critical process is proving to be valuable in capturing the knowledge of an aging "Baby Boomers" workforce.

SwRI, in partnership with the United States Air Force, Headquarters Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC), produced a prototype game training solution utilizing an affective objective format to influence the value aircraft mechanics place on completing aircraft maintenance forms documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Understanding and analyzing the behavior of aggregate collections of individuals is a challenging problem complicated by the fact that a modeling system must take into account the widely varying behaviors and actions of hundreds (or thousands) of individuals. The MAICE Station (TM) is a prototype platform for developing, analyzing, and researching the behaviors and actions of aggregates. It provides a variety of visualization tools and can be used as an analysis platform as well as a briefing and training tool for event management or post hoc evaluation.

The SwRI-developed Undergraduate Air Battle Manager Training System (UABMTS) provides real-time simulation of battlefield air operations and can be used in a variety of different training modes including stand-alone, single team, multi-team, full mission training and live aircraft control.

The SwRI-developed UK AWACS Mission Crew Training System (AMCTS) is a major component of the UK Mission Training through Distributed Simulation (MTDS) Capability Concept Demonstrator (CCD). The primary function of the AMCTS is to enable an AWACS aircrew to participate in collective training exercises with Fast Jet, Rotary Wing, and Multi-engine aircrew.
